Where?
We are currently looking for specialists doctors in the field of Adult Psychiatry for public hospital located in Western Sweden.
There are two positions in the Affective Psychiatry Department and two positions in the Addiction Department.
The doctor will work in a multidisciplinary team, in both inpatient and outpatient work. The work includes reception, diagnosis and treatment of patients, team sessions and meetings with the patient’s family, cooperation with social services.
In the affective psychiatry clinic, they treat patients with affective disorders, including bipolar disorders, anxiety syndromes, compulsive-, eating-, personality-, neuropsychiatric disorders including ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. They have several programs for adapting people to the society, as these patients often have a hard time adjusting.
The Hospital has a generous policy regarding further training and participation to conferences. The doctor will also be involved in the training of resident doctors and in the further development of the department. There is a close collaboration with the clinic for adult psychiatry, situated nearby.
Requirements:
• Specialist title in Psychiatry with experience and/or interest in Addiction and/or Affective Psychiatry
• Availability to complete the Swedish intensive course
We offer:
• Permanent contract after successful Swedish language exam.
• Salary starting from 46.000 SEK gross. Duties, if there will be, will be paid apart.
• Training courses within working hours.
• Help to find: apartment, school and kindergarten.
• Invitation to study tour to Sweden after a first interview, to learn more about the region and the work environment.
• Assistance with removal and relocation costs.
• Intensive Swedish course, also for the family.
• Remuneration during the Swedish language course of 700 € monthly net, a supplement for children of 70 € monthly net, free apartment and travel costs for the family.

• Specialist title in Psychiatry with experience and/or interest in Addiction and/or Affective Psychiatry
• Availability to complete the Swedish intensive course
